This is the first post on this blog.
Why write a blog?
When I’m learning something I keep running into the same feeling: it all makes sense while I’m reading it, and two weeks later only a vague impression is left. Writing it down forces me to think through the fuzzy parts, and it’s easy to look things back up later. That’s what this blog is for.
How I built this blog
The stack is simple:
- Astro — a static framework for content sites, and it’s fast
- Tailwind CSS — utility CSS, easy to tweak styles
- MDX — you can embed components in Markdown
- GitHub Pages — free hosting, push the code and it deploys automatically
I write and publish through a desktop editor I built myself, which syncs straight to GitHub.
What I’ll write next
- Notes on what I’m learning (lately AI and software design)
- Project development logs
- The occasional reading note or random thought
I can’t promise a regular posting schedule, but I’ll try to make sure every post is something I’ve actually thought through.
